We take great pride in the quality and craftsmanship of every Almond Muse piece. However, on rare occasions, an item may arrive damaged due to handling during transit or a manufacturing fault. If this happens, we’re here to make it right, quickly and hassle-free.
This article outlines how to report a damaged item, what qualifies as a valid claim, and how we resolve these issues.
What qualifies as “damaged”?
An item may be considered damaged if it arrives with:
Torn fabric or stitching
Loose or missing embellishments (beads, sequins, appliqué)
Visible stains or marks
Broken zippers, buttons, or closures
Incorrect construction or misalignment
Normal creasing due to shipping or minor packaging pressure is not considered damage.
What should I do first?
Please inspect your order immediately upon delivery.
If you notice any damage, take the following steps:
Contact us within 72 hours of delivery
Email: [email protected]
Include the following in your email:
Your full name and order number
A clear description of the damage
At least 3 clear photos showing:
The full item
A close-up of the damage
The product tag and packaging
Do not wear or alter the item
Items must be returned in the condition received.
What happens next?
Once we receive your report, we will:
Review your claim within 1–2 business days
If approved, offer one of the following:
A replacement of the same item (subject to stock availability)
A full refund
A store credit if you prefer a future purchase
If the item is no longer available, we’ll work with you to find the best alternative resolution.
Exceptions
We are unable to accept damage claims if:
More than 72 hours have passed since delivery
The item has been worn, altered, or cleaned
The damage was caused after use (e.g. tears, stains from perfume, or improper care)
Proactive packaging
To reduce the risk of damage in transit, all Almond Muse pieces are:
Steamed and quality-checked before dispatch
Packaged with protective layers and sealed for international travel
Accompanied by care instructions to help you preserve the garment
